Cairns, Australia, 28 August 2007; When 26-year old Luke Smith started his business in 2007, he did so with the same vigorous ambition, that led his older sister Mellissah to national success.
"Starting a business is an exciting prospect if you have the right knowledge of the industry, a customer service orientation and a lot of drive," said Luke Smith, Director, Far North Queensland Tint 'n' Trailers.
Sister, Mellissah Smith, has three companies, with the first established when she was just 25 years old in the Gold Coast, Queensland.
"I started Insomnia Marketing and Communication when I was 25, and I had the same determination as Luke, however, I think he is a bit wiser in many ways," confirmed serial entrepreneur Mellissah Smith.
"He has his marketing in place, a quality product and a service orientation that is second to none.
"Cairns and North Queensland are hot areas of window tinting and trailers and there are no truly local franchises around as all the head offices are elsewhere."
Mellissah has a successful film production company, Insomnia Films, a marketing consultancy firm, Marketing Eye and an advertising and design agency called Insomnia Marketing and Communication.
"Luke has worked under a great manager for many years and learnt so much. His eagerness to learn and succeed will see Far North Queensland Tint 'n' Trailers grow and succeed."
